Fully 80% of its practice is focused on copyright and contract issues as they apply to musical artists, songwriters, record labels and publishers. The firm also works with advertising agencies, film and video producers and licensors of musical works. In addition to music publishing administration, catalogue licensing and sales and other transactional matters; I represented songwriters, labels, and artists in copyright infringement suits in Federal court in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

I personally constructed a database containing over 7,000,000 entries for a Copyright Office report allocating over $89,000,000 in television royalties among 3,500 claimants.
On October 6, 2006, the President signed into law the Copyright Royalty Judges Program Technical Corrections Act (P. L. 109-303) mandating that these determinations must be considered as precedents for all future cable TV royalty distributions.
