In addition to music publishing administration, catalogue licensing and sales and other transactional matters; I represented songwriters, labels, and artists in copyright infringement suits in Federal court in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

Arbitrator, U.S. Copyright Office Arbitration Royalty Panel 2000-2001
Specially appointed by the Librarian of Congress to conduct hearings & question witnesses under the Administrative Procedures Act. I personally constructed a database containing over 7,000,000 entries for a Copyright Office report allocating over $89,000,000 in television royalties among 3,500 claimants.
On October 6, 2006, the President signed into law the Copyright Royalty Judges Program Technical Corrections Act (P. L. 109-303) mandating that these determinations must be considered as precedents for all future cable TV royalty distributions.
